Chondrus Crispus
Chondrus crispus, commonly known as Irish Moss, is a species of red seaweed commonly found in the Atlantic Ocean along the coasts of Europe and North America. It has been a staple of Irish cuisine since the 19th century and is used to create carrageenan, a food additive. It is rich in vitamins and minerals, including iodine, potassium, iron, magnesium, and calcium. It is also used as a thickening agent in soups and sauces and is said to be beneficial for digestion, joint health, and circulation.
How to Prepare:
Rinse & clean a portion of sea moss you would like to blend. Keep in mind that it can expand to 3-5x. Soak in spring water for a minimum of 6 hours or a maximum of 48.Â

Put sea moss in a blender & add water until it is completely covered.
Blend for 60-90 seconds or until completely smooth.

Keep refrigerated for 4-6 weeks or freeze for 6 months-1yr
Take 1-2 tablespoons daily
